Robert (Rob) G Donald – Technical Director & Principal

Robert has more than 30 years’ experience in land drainage and landscape construction. He holds an Agricultural Engineering degree (specialising in soil and water engineering) from Newcastle University. He is a member of the Institute of Agricultural Engineers and the National Association of Agricultural Contractors. He is also a Chartered Environmentalist and a CSCS Professionally Qualified Person.

He is a previous Chairman of the Land Drainage Contractors Association (LDCA), and the current deputy chairman of the land drainage section of the National Association of Agricultural Contractors (NAAC). He is also a steering committee member of the natural turf construction division of the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA). He frequently speaks at industry events as a visiting lecturer.

Robert’s extensive experience as a project manager and designer was developed both in the UK and overseas. Two examples of his many successful projects are the ambitious ‘design and install’ project at St Mellion Estate Golf and Holiday Resort in Cornwall and his contribution to the design of a complex landscape irrigation installation package at Disneyland Paris.

Robert’s academic credentials are coupled with his extensive practical and ‘hands on’ skills to offer unparalleled knowledge and professional competence to every client. He uses his experience and professional resources to deliver all projects to the client’s specification and the highest quality and sustainability standards.

Liana R Blackburn – Office Administrator, Site Visit Field Work Technician & Technical Data Researcher

Liana is a multi-skilled and multi-talented member of our team. She holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Internal Equine and Agricultural Business Management and a post-graduate diploma in Rural Estates Management from the Royal Agricultural College (Cirencester).

The latter qualification is certified by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has provided Liana with exemplary mapping skills and technical surveying knowledge. These skills support the company’s ongoing development planning work.

Liana is also our Office Administrator and the first point of contact for new business enquiries and client liaison. In addition, she is our in-house equestrian expert providing highly beneficial knowledge and expertise for our equestrian projects.
