Sports & Spaces Ltd’s Technical Director Rob Donald has been developing exceptional, long-term relationships with renowned golf course professionals since 1995. He has held leadership roles with trade body associations including the British Association of Golf Course Constructors (BAGCC) and the British Turf & Landscape Irrigation Association (BTLIA), speaking about land drainage management at industry conferences and events.
Our extensive golf project experience includes ‘design and build’ services at prestigious golf courses in the UK and Europe. This includes multiple Ryder Cup courses (including current works in collaboration with European Golf Designs at the Marco Simone Ryder Cup 2023 course in Rome) and courses designed by championship winners Jack Nicklaus and Ian Woosnam.
Rob was also appointed as golf course drainage consultant for the JCB Championship course at Woodseat Hall, Uttoxeter, the most ambitious golf project in the UK for many years.
